Safety Training

Asbestos Awareness Training (required every year)

Annual asbestos awareness training is required for ALL UW employees. EH&S provides regular in-person training, OR you can go to their website and take the training in the privacy of your own workspace, on your own schedule. You can complete the online training in only 15-20 minutes and will receive confirmation of your training.

Violence in the Workplace Training (required every two years)

Preventing violence on campus is a responsibility we share. Students, faculty and staff are required to attend a 50-minute session to learn the warning signs of violence, how to respond in potentially violent situations and what campus resources are available to those affected by violence.
