The College of Ocean and Fishery Sciences is proud of the experiential education we offer - bringing the impact of world-class research into the lives of our undergraduates. We are very close to our fund-raising goal that will establish the Richard H. Fleming Professorship, rewarding faculty excellence in undergraduate education.

Ocean alumni Jed Hirota ('65, '67) and Alyn Duxbury ('55, '56) and Ocean friend Alison Duxbury have pledged a 1:1 match on the next $30,000 of contributions; they encourage and challenge their fellow ocean alumni and friends to join them in creating the first endowed professorship dedicated to the School of Oceanography.
